A strange adventure

‘Look at that guy,’ Jessica said to Emily on their day out in High Park.
‘He’s weird!’ The ‘guy’ was the strangest boy the two girls had ever seen. He looked about 14 years old but he was wearing an old man’s clothes. He was standing in the middle of High Park with his mouth wide open as if he couldn’t believe his eyes.
The two girls watched him for a few minutes and then began to walk away. Suddenly the boy turned his head and looked at them with scared eyes. ‘Where am I?’ he asked sadly. ‘Where is this place?’ The
girls were shocked by the fear in his voice.
Jessica told him he was in High Park. The boy just shook his head slowly. ‘High Park....Toronto....Ontario....Canada’, Emily explained.
Suddenly the boy said: ‘There is one!’ ‘What?’ ‘A strange memory!’
‘What do you remember?’ Emily asked interested, but Jessica wanted to go. The boy answered confused: ‘There were two men in black and I think they kidnapped me!’
‘No way!’ Jessica screamed. ‘Why? When?’ ‘I don’t know why I was kidnapped by them, because they gave me some medicines, so that I can’t remember. But now my memories are back,’ the boy told them.
‘We must quickly go to the police!’ Emily whispered. The three wanted to go, but a black car appeared, stopped and two men with black clothes saw the kids, who ran away. But now the two men ran too and they came nearer and nearer.
The three kids hid in an old broken house in a room on the attic and closed the door. ‘What’s your name?’ Jessica whispered. ‘Jack.’ ‘Why wear you these old clothes?’ ‘Because I don’t want that they find me!’
Suddenly there were steps, but these loud steps weren’t in the house they were on the street! Jack looked out of the window and right the kidnappers ran past the house. When the men were far away, the kids took a bus to a police station and told them their story.
Just a few hours later the police found the kidnappers and Jack’s family. Everyone was happy now.
After this adventure Emily, Jessica and Jack became best friends.
